Magnum is my "heart" dog. I got him at 7 weeks and he basically picked me! We have had one wild ride together. He earned his CGC at 9 months. His CD at a little over a year. He got his Championship at three. He earned his CDX at two years and his UD at four. It took us a while to get the UDX which he earned at eight. In the meantime he has had two invitations to the Eukaneuba Invitational in Florida and California, and he is OTCH pointed. He has placed nationally in obedience in the past 6 years. He went into agility as a crosstraining method to ease the mental work of the UDX and in the process he earned both his Novice Agility titles last year and three Rally titles, the RN, RA, and RE. Magnum was struck with anal sac cancer in May last year. Surgery and four rounds of chemotherapy knocked him for a loop for a while. This year he came back at the beginning of the season getting half of the required 10 legs for his RAE and also earning preferred Novice Agility titles. He has also placed in the only traditional obedience trial that we have attended so far this year earning another OTCH point.
